Meet Dr. Lagemann
Dr. Roy August (“Augie”) Lagemann was raised in Saratoga, CA. While he attended Pomona College in Southern California, he enjoyed playing college football and was team captain for two years. He also received the Scholar Athlete Award for his graduating class. After he completed a degree in Biology, Dr. Lagemann earned a Fulbright Scholarship to study Ecology in Poland and Norway.
Dr. Lagemann graduated from the University of California San Francisco School of Dentistry in 2015. As a dental student, he took every opportunity to volunteer and provide dental care to the underserved community in San Francisco. He also participated in multiple dental aid trips, both locally and abroad, where persons who otherwise had no access to dental care received free, professional care. Upon graduation, he received the San Francisco Dental Society’s Ethics and Professionalism Award. Dr. Lagemann completed advanced training in general dentistry during a one-year General Practice Residency in Fresno, CA. He treated both veterans at the Fresno VA Hospital and patients with a variety of dental needs at the Fresno Community Medical Center.
Dr. Lagemann is a life-long learner who actively participates in continuing education courses to ensure that he is constantly improving his practice. He is an active member and committee chair of the Santa Clara County Dental Society. Dr. Lagemann is married to Dr. Sarah Murray, who is also a dentist and practices both at Lagemann Family Dentistry and in Sunnyvale. The Lagemanns welcomed their newest addition with the birth of baby Miles this past November. In his free time, Dr. Lagemann enjoys spending time with his family on the coast, improving his cooking skills, working on his golf game, and playing with his rescue dog, Chloe.
Meet Dr. Murray
Dr. Sarah Murray is a Bay Area native. She received her bachelor’s degree in Biology at the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington in 2011. She also studied classical music and minored in fine art.
Following graduation, Dr. Sarah attended Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco. After earning her dental degree in 2014, she spent her first year volunteering part time at a non-profit dental clinic in the Tenderloin district of San Francisco.
Dr. Sarah is married to Dr. Lagemann and they recently welcomed baby Miles to their family in November! When Dr. Sarah is not in the office, you may find her exploring the outdoors with her family and their dog, Chloe. She also enjoys cooking with friends, discovering hole-in-the wall coffee shops, and working out at her local yoga/barre studio.

Our friendly front office staff, Janet and Sandra, are knowledgeable and are here to answer any questions you may have about dental insurance, payment options, and scheduling appointments for you and your family. Monica and Fanny, our skilled dental assistants, will walk you through your dental appointment and are here to make sure you have a comfortable and enjoyable experience in our office. Our expert team of hygienists: Aileen, Lauren, Cheri, and Julia, are extremely thorough and work hard to improve your oral hygiene and help you create good oral health habits. At Lagemann Family Dentistry, each and every member of our team strives to create an unforgettable oral health experience.
Janet
Treatment Coordinator
Janet was born and raised in Mountain View. She started working in this office in 2002. What Janet enjoys most about being in the dental field are the amazing relationships she has formed, both with patients and coworkers. Janet is among the first of the staff that new patients come into contact with when they enter our office, which just drives her passion! Of course, she is always a friendly and familiar face for returning patients as well.
In her free time, she loves spending time with friends and family. She also loves to travel! Her favorite places to visit are Pine Mountain Lake in the Yosemite area, and anywhere in Hawaii.
Sandra
Financial Coordinator
Sandra has been working in the dental field since 1994. She was born on the Azores Islands in Portugal. She is fluent in both Portuguese and English. Sandra is responsible for coordinating with insurance and making sure your insurance benefits are maximized. She also handles financial arrangements. Sandra strives to create a positive patient experience by creating long-lasting relationships and offering financial transparency and great communication. Like Janet, she is one of the first faces a patient sees when they walk in the door.
In her free time, she loves to go hiking and practice Yoga. She also loves spending time with family and friends.
Cheri
Registered Dental Hygienist
Cheri grew up in Santa Clara, CA. She discovered her love of dentistry in high school and began working as a dental assistant in 1992. While working as an RDA, she attended Foothill College and decided to apply to dental hygiene school. She graduated from the program in 2000. In 2003 she began working in this office. She loves meeting and getting to know all the patients that come to the office, and enjoys the amazing team she gets to work with!
In her free time, Cheri volunteers for Grass Roots Ecology. She also enjoys spending time with her husband and two children and hiking with their dog, Reina.
Olga
Registered Dental Hygienist
Olga graduated from San Joaquin Valley College of Dental Hygiene in 2006 and has been working in this field ever since. She found her passion in dental hygiene when she realized that oral health is the gateway to a healthy life and is an integral part of overall well-being. She loves working with people and provides the best dental hygiene care in a relaxed environment. Olga has a very friendly and outgoing personality which helps patients feel as comfortable as possible. Her goal is to educate and provide information so that patients can improve their oral health. In her spare time, Olga enjoys taking cycling and Zumba classes, traveling, and spending time with her friends and family.
Sandra
Registered Dental Hygienist
Sandra brings a wealth of experience to our practice with over 30 years of experience as a registered dental hygienist, registered nurse, nurse educator, and dental hygiene educator. She began her dental hygiene career after graduating from the University of New Mexico in 1981 and later completed a bachelor's degree in nursing from Auburn University at Montgomery in 2000. She loves helping patients improve their oral and whole-body health through education and caring conversation. Sandra volunteers her time as the secretary of the Santa Clara Valley Dental Hygienist's Association. In her free time, Sandra enjoys Pilates, hiking, sailing with her husband, visiting her grandson in Portland, Oregon, and exploring all the amazing eating options in this area.
Fanny (retired)
Registered Dental Assistant
Fanny received her certification as Registered Dental Assistant from the City College of San Jose. She also graduated from the City College of San Francisco as a Certified Health Care Interpreter, speaking not only English but Cantonese and some Mandarin. She has been a vital part of the Lagemann Family Dentistry team since 2003. She has a strong commitment to cooperative teamwork and is passionate about educating patients to achieve their best oral health status.
Born in Hong Kong, Fanny loves taking care of plants and creating flower arrangements. She speaks Cantonese as well as some Mandarin. She also loves walking on the beach, watching movies, and trying out the latest restaurants.
Monica
Registered Dental Assistant
Monica was born and raised in San Jose where she attended CCOC (now Silicon Valley Career and Technical Education) during 1991 and 1992, studying dentistry. She acquired her RDA license a few years later and has been serving patients in Mountain View since 1996. Monica takes pride in helping patients and especially loves cosmetic dentistry. She takes great pride and joy in seeing the before and after smiles of her patients and making a difference in their lives through improving their oral health and appearance.
Monica enjoys spending time with her family, U-Jam Fitness, and supporting her local community activities and events.
